Metal Finishes: Cage Burnished Steel, 77 Rust (304 stainless steel) These lamps take shape from a stainless steel frame within which glass is blown. The production of blown glass is carried out according to ancient Murano craft techniques. In order to obtain special finishes, before blowing, the glass is sometimes placed in a mold that imprints its texture. The glass, blown by the master glassmaker inside the stainless steel frame, swells by shaping itself to the desired shape. Once this process is complete, the artifact is introduced into the tempering, which allows it to cool while preventing breakage. Only when the glass has cooled can the next processes be carried out: cutting, grinding and drilling, as needed. The result is unique works where research expresses the identity of Venice's historical tradition. Product made in Italy (Venice)
