Marcel Breuer
Marcel Breuer was a Hungarian-American architect, designer and professor who helped defining the principles of the International style. Breuer was born in Pécs, Hungary and he studied at the Design school of Bauhaus in Weimar in Germany. He took up with architecture in Berlin until Nazism came up to power, therafter he had to run away to England in 1933 and then to the USA in 1937. He contributed to the development of the influential school of architecture at the Harvard University. During the 50's and the 60's Breuer drew various well-known buildings in USA and Europe.
