TEAK FINISH:
The teak color is clear, golden, the exposure to UV rays and to atmospheric agents enriches the structure with grey and green streaks. It seems like wax at the touch, but it smells like old leather.
TEAK CHARACTERISTICS:
The Teak is a wood type, born and grown in Asian Tropical Forest, thanks to its inside oily substances, it is considered overall the best wood in terms of durability.
Teak is a waterproof wood, not surprisingly, it’s one of the most used material for indoor and outdoor furniture production.
RECCOMANDATIONS FOR USE AND MAINTENANCE:
In order to ensure the product’s durability over time, it is absolutely advisable a proper use and periodic maintenance; it is not allowed a different use than the one for which the product was made.
-It is good to avoid leaving the furnishing under bad weather for a long time.
-It is advisable to store the products in a covered place at the end of the summer season.
-As long as the wooden product, previously treated, loses its original color, it is reccomended to brush up in order to refresh the protection by using special Teak wood detergents (e.g. teak protection wood oil).
The detergent penetrates deeply the wood, and it will develop a protective “waterproof” action against the creation of fungus and it will also contrast decomposition.
